Proudly belonging to a community that united is making a difference in many CDG's lives! During 16th May World Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation Awareness Day, the worldwide CDG community, friends and supporters showed how they you care about CDG, thus they are aware!

In the light of the lack of awareness and visibility for Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG), the world CDG community took the step to formally request at the end of May 2016  from the World Health Organization (WHO) the declaration of an annual World  Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) Awareness Day.

In order to reinforce this request the worldwide CDG community, friends and supporters did many actions during 16th May 2016! 

The engagement from our CDG community was unique  during 16th May, World  Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) Awareness Day! Thanks for your generous efforts and dedication to make 16th May, a special among the CDG patients and families lives!

The World Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) Awareness Day campaign 2016 proved:

• to be the platform to promote CDG awareness, visibility and advocacy efforts
  
• to promote and synergized CDG research
  
• to be a global driver that will boost coordinated and concerted actions to confront CDG as a critical global health issue
